The rise of jackpot values this year are taking longer than the big jackpots last year.

And it’s not due to interest rates. Indeed, it’s the sales that are slower.

I don’t know if Americans are lotteried-out or not, but games do go stale.

Maybe because there is no positive reward for buying even a bunch of tickets. For example, one can correctly pick two white balls and yet there is no prize for that.

They need more consolation prizes, or to promote the non-megajackpot prizes more than they do now.
