re: #32 ArmyWife

Bobby Jindal is not Ronald Reagan. But his state isn’t bleeding jobs like the others, why would that be? He has good points. I hope he figures out that creationism isn’t the way to go nationally, but think about his constituents - we rail that WE elect politicians that speak for us. Could it be that in his state this is what they want? I’m sad if that is what they do want, but at the same time I wouldn’t be surprised.

Again, I do not want my tax dollars supporting Creationism. I just don’t. But I won’t write a politician off if they are a creationist - so long as they do not force the belief on me.

I joke about running for office, but to be perfectly honest, I do have political ambitions. I have skeletons like most “normal” people - I would hope people could separate some of my personal beliefs from what I would do as a politician (I pay my taxes, no worries there) should I really get there.

Louisiana was the only state that added jobs in December 2008, and actually had a net gain of 8,700 jobs since December 2007.

I don’t think Jindal is ready for POTUS, and he may never be, time will tell.

One think I really do wish is that he were a tad more photogenic - he’s not what you would call handsome, but in person, he’s better looking than in photos or video.
