We used to all be Winston. I had who lived in a 100 year old house. It had a very old ‘indoor’ bathroom. You went out the front door onto the porch, then into another door. The people who built it with a fresh memory of what outhouses smelled like could not imagine having that inside the house. Apparently this was fairly common for decades.
