I’m thinking Obama might take them up on the offer. Especially since this is their initial proposal Obama might be able to get some addition concessions or power to act unilaterally. The GOP has signaled that they don’t want any part of governing so they’re probably eager to unload their responsibilities. It could be a big win for everybody.
