Cash for clunkers is a joke here in CT. People are actually going to junkyards and peoples houses and picking up barely running cars, getting tags and insurance for a day or two and getting the $4,500 trade in allowance. It is one big scam and the dealers don’t care.

They are wasting their time, since you have to prove continuous registration and insurance for one full year to qualify.
