This has nothing to do with what I “believe”…just reporting what I observed during a very limited time frame in a very limited place. It just puzzled me, growing up, that some bigots pick and choose their “people of color.” Doesn’t keep them from being bigots or make them nice people, of course.

What do you mean by “a difference in time periods”? I’m talking about the 1960s in Birmingham, Alabama.
