Spending money on war leads to governments funneling money into something with no real lasting benefit.

A road or bridge gives people place to drive for years, a tank or helicopter is a lot of taxpayer money going up in smoke when it gets blown up…

I wish we spent tha vast majority of money on infrastructure. Long hall electrical transport is not only needed today. If ever we want to consider alternative sources form fossil fuels more long haul transport of electrical power will be needed.
