CNN’S Suzanne Malveaux almost begs Mr. Obama for a condemnation of the killings and a warning to the Iranian dictatorship but this President is no Ronald Reagan:

Malveaux: ‘We also have people on the ground that have been seeing that the streets are quieter now and that is because they fear that they are paralyzed by fear - fear of people gone missing, fear of violence - that perhaps this is a movement that’s gone underground - that perhaps this is a movement which is dying. Do you have any concern over that?’

President Obama:
‘I think it’s important for us to make sure that we let the Iranian people know that we are watching.’
