Well, I’d say 90-95% MIA. There were folks like David Farenthold, Daniel Dale, Kurt Eichenwald, and others.

I think what we’re seeing now is that the media are no longer afraid of him. Whether that’s the higher ups at Corporate seeing more money to be made NOT sucking up, or the journalists themselves sensing the blood in the water, I don’t know. Maybe both.

It’s also worth noting that nobody in America could have missed things like the Access Hollywood tape, or Judge Curiel Week, or attacking the Khans. What I’ve seen journalists say is, “We covered it. People didn’t pay attention.”

The coverage (which lasted until the next email leak) was drowned by the Clinton hate - day after day after day. The Hollywood tape should have stopped the trump campaign forever - but other than get Billy Bush fired it proved that nothing would stop the liar in chief. Bill Clinton had to defend impeachment for so much less.
