It is so frustrating that no matter how many times a RW “argument” is shown to be utterly specious, they keep on chanting it. The ‘democrats are the anti civil rights party’ argument reminds me of the ‘Hitler was a socialist, communist, fascist’ argument——-simply based on a couple of facts taken completely out of context. (The term Nazi includes ‘socialist’ in its origin, and Hitler at one point had a treaty with Stalin.)

I don’t imagine many of them know what ‘specious’ means——-probably a suspect word having to do with Darwinism….
