the current R majority is 235 to 193.
The Politico article says the they are predicting 225 seats for the Ds plus or minus 13. So while they could end up with a larger majority than the Rs currently have it isn’t a high probability.
one reason a D majority no matter how slight would be beneficial: Rs in the current House haven’t been on the team; some have their own private grifting agendas and then there are the Liberty Caucus and Freedom Caucus who can’t get along with anyone.
