There’s pretty much an agreement by all the mediocre, often-wrong pundits to never ever talk about how there’s an fucking industry of mediocre, often-wrong pundits that have jobs because they can play-act being clever, while having nothing truly complicated or deep to say. Like a gossip columnist that can drop college-sophomore level references and is a middle-aged white dude.

I don’t even have an artful historical comparison. It’s just a dick-sucking ourouboros.
