Obama’s comment is clear enough. His no comment on the “wisdom” of putting it there echoes the vast majority who do question the wisdom of putting it there.
He would not have made this qualifier about “the wisdom” if he fully believed it was a wise thing to do.

LOL. He was asked about the wisdom, how could he not opine on it.
