Not alleged. I’d need something solid before I’d use a nuke. The use of an option of last resort, at least in my mind, requires that the threat existence can be proven by clear and definitive evidence.

And I should say i don’t think a nuke will be needed. Our new bunker busters should be able to do the job conventionally.

There was far more compelling evidence of North Korea’s nuclear ambitions and we never engaged in a bombing campaign. And before you say “China,” Iran’s on their customer list. They’re also on Russia’s list, which is why you’ll never get agreement to bomb Iran through the Security Council.

Face it, if diplomacy and sanctions have failed, then it’s time to make peace with the possibility of a nuclear Iran.
