There is still a huge problem there and at least Franken addresses that in his statement.

I’m am not making any excuses. In fact, I think it now best to watch what is going on and comment less. As I said, it is going to get ugly. It could get ugly right here because this is a super-charged issue.

It has been building and building since at least the mid-60 and the “free love” era of hippiedom, women’s rights, birth control and abortion clashing with old time America and religion.

It is coming to a head right now.

All I know is I have nothing to hide in my own life. I was very aware of these issues back in junior high and I have always treated all my female friends with the utmost respect.

It is a major fact of why I stayed single because I admit I have been very confused by sexual politics in relationship due to the era I grew up in. I know too many guys that were like Moore and others and I couldn’t be and is just added to the confusion.

I have posted about that in the past here. It would take a book to explain my decisions, but I can be certain I never hurt anyone. I think I may have been hurt and then hurt myself. But I am not complaining. It has all been my choice.
