Being an a**hole has been confused with vigorously standing up for yourself, IMO.

That’s not what I do. What I do is ignore the feelings and needs of others. Sometimes I even get surprised that other people have feelings. I know that’s conceited and I work to avoid acting that. But enough about me, my problems aren’t all that big.
