Ah, so human sacrifice isn’t as evil if you just sacrifice a small number of heretics for your religion?

Is human sacrifice less evil once you’ve hit some number? Or is each one just as bad as the ones that came before? I hold that numbers matter. Numbers, if you like, count.

So I will not defend the Inquisition. I will just count its victims, and count the victims of other cruelties in history, and then make a reckoning.
