Ok, I’m totally late to the thread, and while I managed to get most of the dates off the top of my head, I was born two decades after the Kennedy assassination, so the date isn’t burned into my brain, and I had to look it up. JFK was assassinated on 22 Nov 1963 and LHO was shot two days later on 24 Nov 1963.

If you check wikipedia for significant events on 23 Nov 1963, you’ll see that this was the date of the television debut of Dr. Who. I’m pretty sure that’s what he’s referring to, rather than any events surrounding the JFK assassination.
