BO is centrist where he has no political option, otherwise he’s hard core left…he’s learning as he goes with regard to Bush’s policies…his campaign said otherwise with regard to Gitmo, investigations into waterboarding etc…he stands for nothing, but just blows whatever way is politically profitable…if he re-runs you will hear the same pandering all over again

Um, the left consists of groups descended from the 4th International. Obama has nothing to do with that. As a movement it’s almost dead in the US. I was a member of Trotskyist group in college but it was ultimately a waste of time.

I really think it’s inaccurate to call any non-revolutionary organization “leftist.”
