The vets groups said that it would impede hiring of wounded vets by private corporations as it would cost more for medical coverage just to cover the new layer of bureaucracy of getting reimbursements from the government.

If that’s what he meant, it was as idiotic as it seems.

Even if he meant something else, it’s apparently a major politial screwup to present it so it could be so misunderstood.

Apparently his next domestic initiative is health care. We shall see.
