I know. Which is why I’m far more concerned with the quality of the people the GOP is putting up in those places I think the Democrats will lose. I really don’t mind Democrats losing seats— most of them aren’t worth a damn. But I do mind if they’re replaced by an AGW-denying Paulian Theocrat nutjob.

Sadly, the chances of the GOP halting in its mad rush towards total political insanity before the elections seems very low.
