My mom told me the other day that she met him at a Dem function on the VA Eastern shore where she lives. She said he was very nice, actually came up to her and gave her a big hug because she was wearing a University of Missouri vest. Turned out he is a Mizzou grad as well. Small world!

Yeah he’s from Kansas and a Mizzou alum. Like so many here, he’s a transplant. I believe he’s originally from Kansas. Very nice guy, I can vouch for that as well. I met him and told him he was the first person I voted for (( was 18 in 2005 and we had our governor election year).
