RWNJs aren’t going to have an easy time making Andy Jackson into a movement conservative deity. Sure they approve of his slave-owning and genocide and displacement of native Americans, but Jackson was a staunch anti-Confederate, and was not out to make the rich better off at everyone else’s expense.

Maybe they’ll embrace Zombie Jackson, like Zombie Reagan. And, you know, that MLK who would have been ashamed of Black Lives Matter? And the JFK or FDR who’d be a Republican today?
