Minnesota = wild north country, or “the fishbowl”.

Indiana = fish country, where my family originally settled after leaving Pennsylvania, where they arrived in the New World back in the late 1600’s.

Last summer, we looked at this sign and said “nah.” (We’d planned to cross the border at Fort Frances.) Continued on around Lake Superior and Lake Huron instead.
