Reminds me of an apocryphal story I once heard about, I think, French King Louis 16th. Evidently he once held a competition offering a substantial prize to whoever could play him a recognisable tune on an unusual instrument.
The winner constructed a ‘Pig Piano’, with ‘notes’ ranging from squealer piglets through sows to the ‘bass’ boars. He won the prize with a rendition of ‘Frere Jacques’ recognisable by the King.

Any Lizard remember this from other sources that can correct my hazy recollection ?
