I guess you didn’t read the first victim’s accusation. She claimed Franken did maneuver her to get her alone for the kiss he wanted to “rehearse.” I get that we all like Franken and don’t want to think him capable of this kind of stuff. But I’m afraid we’re all in for a disappointment. I really hope not.

I guess you didn’t read Tweeden’s response to Franken’s apology, in which (paraphrasing here) she accepted the apology and didn’t wish for Franken to resign or lose his seat over it.

If there’s more to this second accusation (or more forthcoming), then that’s what the investigations need to get at and put the facts all out there.
