Re #380 Kosh’s Shadow

I agree with your assessment of Carter, however James Buchanan is the absolute worst President in the history of the United States. Buchanan’s inability and unwillingness to deal with the crises during his administration led to the bloodiest war in American History and on American Soil. Obama has signed an order that will bring enemy combantants onto American Soil where they can organize through their lawyers (as the “Blind Sheik” did through that radical Lynn Stewert), recruit new troops in our prisions (as the Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, Mexican Drug Cartels all currently do), and plot new terrorist attacks on American Soil (see the “Blind Sheik” again.) Obama’s decision regarding the WOT makes it almost certain American blood will be shed on American soil. This will put Obama in a class of Presidents that contains only Buchanan currently.

Re: #396 MJBrutus

I definitely agree that Pelosi will be a very powerful Speaker. I am not sure Obama, given his disinclination for any disagreement (see his interactions with the press, limited as they may be) is going to cede power due to a philosophical viewpoint, I just don’t think this guy has a clue what he is doing. He has never done any type of administrative/executive job, he was just a professor at law school, never ran a department, as a Senator he was the chair of a sub-committee that basically never met. This guy is so over his head it is pathetic. Hell I have more executive/administrative experience than Obama and sure as hell wouldn’t vote for myself based solely on my LACK OF QUALIFICATIONS. Obama is more dangerous than a fuzzy thinking liberal, he’s a completely unqualified fuzzy thinking liberal who by the position he holds makes the decisions (for historical examples of unqualified disasters as leaders see Louis XVI, Nicholas II).

I have completely depressed myself with my own comments:(
