It is interesting. I really don’t know what the Republican leadership thinks they will gain by making this move.

Obama has managed to deflect his Limbaugh debacle on to the Republicans now.

Of course, Mr. Limbaugh’s sch tick is not for everyone, but he has managed to hold his own for 20 years now. I could see this ending up with the Republicans trying to save face, and actually being the ones who push the Fairness Doctrine.

It won’t be good.

Save face? You’ve gotta be high. The Repubs. would cease to exist as a party, and they know it. (it’s barely hanging on as it is)
