Some of the best-reasoned arguments against Zimmerman’s excess are from gun owners.

I can cope with “stand your ground” even if I disagree with it, but this was not “stand your ground”, it was “pursue and gun down”.

I really worry about what will happen in American cities if there is a major breakdown of public order due to some natural and/or man-made catastrophe.

Some here have told me that I am overdoing it visions of pickup trucks full of vigilantes out gunning down anything they see as suspicious, but this story fuels my concerns.
