The conservatives on the bench are Scalia, Thomas, Alito, and Roberts.

Kennedy is the swing vote - if he retires or leaves the court, that will change the ideological tide. Scalia and Thomas are getting up there in age, but Stevens and Ginsberg are in poor health and/or are older than the conservative members on the bench.
