But I’m in the middle of work right now and can’t research.
When exactly did abortion technically become illegal in this country?

Someone likely answered this, but here goes. I don’t tecann exactly when (early 1900s or thereabouts, and that happened because midwives were performing them and doctors didn’t like losing the business.

(I researched this for a debate in college…I took the Pro side in a debate at the Christian university I went to [and wound up leaving just shy of a degree because the level of their Christianness got way too uncomfortable for me] and got an A. I was quite proud of that. My small way of giving a too small FU.)
