I’m a Euro, but managed to wrack up some Thanksgiving dinners in my time.

And, as we’re giving thanks - I found here just around the time of Charles’s break. I’d moved on from Crooks and Liars and wanted something…substantive; not “plucking defeat from the jaws of victory.”

I lurk, I read - multiple times a day. So I want to say Thanks. This place is amazing. An island of sanity in an ocean of madness. And all of you…most of…some of you…ALL of you make it that.

Sometimes it is good to be a rock and to rock.

I’m taking a lazy day with Tom Petty going in the background…it seems to be all Tom Petty all day on Palladia. And that is all right by me. I forget how much great tuneage he has written.

I’m also going back and forth to my friends house to keep track of his doggies feeding, breaks and some romping time. He and his wife are at the family’s place with his wife’s Mom who might not be around too much longer. Glad to dog sit form them.
