I’m not sure that Trump is necessarily worth this argument, but the potential chaos that several high ranking government officials and/or staffers coming out and saying that POTUS is any combination of unstable, ill prepared, uninterested, a moron, or generally in over his head could be dangerous to national security, the global economy, and lord knows what else. Not only because of what Trump might do in response to such comments, but also how other nations (both friend and foe) will react. Better to maintain the facade, in hopes of keeping Trump mollified - even if other nations are starting act as if those comments have been made out loud instead of in private.

Sure you can say it - but until there is some realistic kick back from those who have worked with him & know first hand the disaster that is the administration things will get so much worse. I understand about the personal retribution from trump - but they well know about that before going to work for him.

There are few countries - other than Russia - who currently consider themselves friends of the USA. trump is doing all he can to alienate the former friends of the US - maintaining a facade related to trump will not make this any better.
