Actually, a friend of mine has a bumper sticker on her AgendaMobile (tm) that says something like, “The Media Is Only As Liberal As the Conservative Corporations Who Own It.” I’ve long since given up trying to explain to her that the eeeeevil media corporations (for which she’s worked in the past) aren’t necessarily “conservative,” and that ownership doesn’t automatically determine content or bias.

Ask her how does she reconcile this with the celebrated “Editorial Independence” the Media’s Editors/Producers/Reporters are always boasting about?
