Then we need to ensure that that list does not become law. We need to keep our side in line, and peel off some Dems (and on this issue it can be done, perhaps including Hillary’s replacement in the Senate). Gun Bans can be stopped, but they have to be fought aggressively to do that.

The Blue Dog Democrats are from gun-owning states. Voting for any kind of gun control would be political suicide for them.

Pelosi and Frank are in safe districts, unfortunately.
