Yes he did sound like he was at least listening but he made it pretty clear that he was going to vote yes on the healthcare bill no matter what the people in his district wanted … he said so in his interview after the townhall …

As to Obama keeping many of the Bush things about the war, etc. … I am pretty sure when he got his first intel briefing he shit his pants and thought better about things … easy to preach what should be done when you don’t have all the intel … it is a friggin scary world out there and plenty of people wanting to cut our heads off … speeches only go so far and then you have to start living in the real world …
