I’m late in the game here - maybe one benefit of not watching TV. What’s up with Roman Polanski? I know about the rape, but why are we hearing about him today, what did I miss?

The Swiss are deporting him to us; Woody Allen, David Lynch and some other director expressed the hope he’d be allowed to go free; Whoopi Goldberg took leave of her senses and said what Polanski did wasn’t “rape-rape”…the list goes on.

It’s pretty scary.
