Thing is that many of the phone calls made by victims on 9/11 to 911 were released as part of a FOIA request by a number of papers and some have been broadcast as part of 9/11 coverage. There was some measure of news value in that request, but there’s no reason to delve into any of the phone records beyond that. As you say, vultures.
