It’s a caucus, so whoever has the best GOTV/ground game would do well. Back in 2008 Huckabee won, and McCain was 4th, behind Mitt and Thompson. We know how that turned out.

I wouldn’t get too carried away with a poll showing Paul ahead, and it certainly doesn’t mean he’s going to win the nomination. It does show that there are more than enough people out there who are willing to overlook his conspiracy addled mind and associations with conspiracy-mongers and white supremacists.
