Really, because I sure thought it said that We held (as in we Americans believe) as a self evident truth (as in utterly obvious as a truth) that all (as in everyone) men were created equal. It doesn’t seem to say anything about citizenship. And you know every time we go to war and talk about liberating people, we claim we are bringing those values to them - and they aren’t even Americans!

That was so utterly hypocritical on so many levels I don’t have words for it.
