I used to work in Minneapolis in the early 90’s so I was in the skyway system during my lunch hour nearly every weekday. It was pretty easy to find a loop where you could walk for a mile or so without having to cover any territory twice. It serves as a second story main street. There are lots of stores and restaurants that are primarily or exclusively accessed by the skyway. It was a great way to access the city when it was too hot or cold outside.
