She worked at Vail Health — but the obituary doesn’t say what her job was. Do we know that she was actually a health care worker? There are many administrative positions at such institutions for people who are not involved in direct contact with patients.

Still should get the shot.

I have friends who work IT in stuff directly related to UPMC (University of Pittsburgh Medical Center). They had pretty high priority to get vaccinated, and did so. UPMC supported this since the IT staff and others had direct contact to doctors and other staff and thus could be a vector to spread the virus.
