I’m trying to follow up on the evolving story of the fallout from the Christianity Today article on Adam and Eve. CT has now made online an editorial about where their stance is officially.

Basically, evangelicals/fundamentalists can’t deal with genetics. Bottom line.

Among the blather on the internet about this subject, a few truly stupid postings deserve to be pointed out. One of the winners is from the IDiots over at UncommonDescent, who now claims:

Why “Christian evolution” leads to euthanasia

It’s just the old creationist line that if one accepts evolution (in this case rejecting the religious idea that all humans descend from just two people, Adam and Eve), then that will lead to euthanasia.

The IDiots are just recycling old creationist tropes, they’re not even pretending to be non-creationists any more.
