Maybe this is just a touch paranoid, but I’m actually worried about something bad happening if the USSC comes down with a decision legalizing SSM across the country. The long-overdue removal of the Traitor Flag, the ACA surviving another supposed death-blow, and gay marriage all coming as a rapid-fire string of defeats could be enough to push some of the crazies over the edge.

Yeah. They might shoot up a bible class or burn a church.
