I wanted to make that very point. “Socialist” is malleable enough a word that it can be made to fit Obama’s philosophy. In Europe, he would fit neatly in the ‘social democrat’ camp, nttawwt.

It’s only malleable if malleable means people get to simply make up their own definition for it.
