I’d heard of the mosquito repelling qualities of Bounce sheets - so those stories are true, not urban legend!
WOW. I used a quasi-famous name repellent from a hunting store. Skeeter’s apparently not only NOT attracted to it, but thought it was just YUMMY! No shit, I had honest to God nine WELTS from where those suckers bit me. Turned nice and black and blue the next day too - and all of my (unbitten) friends and relatives were laughing at me! But I took notes and the NEXT night we went out onto the lake they had their “cottage” on, I made sure to hang around with them -real close too. Next day, no bites for me, plenty for them! LOL!
Course I still hurt but it’s true that misery loves company!
