I love that she actually drew a line through one of her crib notes!

I’m guessing that, while she enjoys the attention she gets by going to these events, she also resents being managed as she was during the campaign. It was a different Palin speaking last night than we’ve seen before, and she didn’t like her speech (excepting the digs at President Obama, Pelosi, and Reid). It was almost as if pretending to be stable and rational was crimping her style.

budget wasn’t a mistaken crib note that she had to correct, so much as it was a reminder to herself that she wasn’t supposed to use that word.
