I’m not sure which is more troubling: the fact that the Taliban claim to be planning attacks against our nation’s capital, or the fact that the Associated Press has the Taliban leader’s phone number in their rolodex?

The latter. Why? Because the chances of a Taliban planned attack going down in Washington, D.C. seem rather slim at a longshot.

But the AP chit chatting with the Taliban is troubling.

Do journalists get a free pass from the NSA/CIA? I hope not.
