I saw that photo and I recall similar ones from earlier protests. I’ve also noticed that in some photos where there’s a lone policeman who has been beaten and bloodied, there seem to be calmer people who’ve intervened and said “That’s enough” and moved to protect the policeman further injury.
That’s because good folk know who the real enemy is and brutalizing a helpless cop would not help the cause.
