No, it isn’t isolated, but Sanitation usually does a halfway decent job.

Not this time though. I expect to hear all kinds of excuses - that there was holiday staffing, budget cuts, etc., except that the Sanitation Director said that 1600 plows were out, hundreds of salt spreaders, and they had brought in additional contractors to assist clearing crosswalks, etc.

While most of Manhattan’s major streets are passable, the same can’t be said of elsewhere in the City.
